Job summary

Relief International in Pakistan seeks a District Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Assistant to support safe, accessible services across the district's wellbeing centres, mobile clinics, community outreach and home-based activities. Reporting to the District MHPSS Officer, you will provide practical support, prepare activities and ensure confidential service navigation.

You will assist with PFA delivery under supervision, help coordinate group and community activities, support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health or a relevant discipline.
At least two years of relevant community, psychosocial, health or protection programme experience.
Ability to complete approved PFA and safeguarding training.
Clear communication in local languages and basic English reading/reporting.
Accurate record keeping and willingness to undertake regular district travel.

Responsibilities

Support accessible services across wellbeing centres, mobile clinics and home visits with respectful, confidential delivery.
Assist with preparing sessions, schedules and supplies; ensure private spaces and inclusive participation.
Support women, girls and people with specific needs and report barriers.
Provide PFA and basic support after training, with supervision.
Maintain accurate attendance and safeguarding records and follow escalation procedures.
