Job summary

The Children’s Place in Lahore seeks a trims sourcing coordinator to support development and sourcing responsibilities across the trims (zippers, buttons, labels) with regional and global collaboration. You will help maintain supplier relationships and ensure adherence to company targets and PLC milestones.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years in trims or related textiles roles, a Fabric Technology background, and proficiency in Office tools.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of trims, garment/textiles design, development and/or production experience.
• Diploma or above in Fabric Technology or equivalent.
• Background in developing and maintaining vendor and mill relationships.
• Solid background in trims research, development, and analysis.
• Exposure in vendor scorecarding and remedies development.
• Experience in trims allocation, ordering & tracking, and product approvals.
• Familiarity with Product Safety/Technology standards for children's apparel.
• Working experience in children's apparel is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel incl. Vlookup and Pivot, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Good command of both verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the daily operational bridge between US and Asia sourcing teams to sync information.
• Maintain day-to-day relationships with trims suppliers (zippers, buttons, labels).
• Assist Raw Materials team in onboarding new suppliers and executing programs.
• Gather and organize data to support supplier allocation strategies and future season planning.
• Track development milestones to align with the PLC calendar.
• Collaborate with Pre-Production, Technical and QA teams to flag material risks early.
• Keep material cost sheets updated and identify potential savings opportunities.
• Collect vendor data to update scorecards and assist in seasonal vendor reviews.
• Order trims for presentation samples and update PLM.
• Assist in updating and communicating SOPs across teams.

Location: Lahore, Job Summary: To drive the successful transformation of the business in becoming a world-class sourcing organization by supporting the Trims development and sourcing responsibilities of the business. To build and maintain business relationships with suppliers to ensure all trims functions are executed in accordance to company’s targets and goals. To partner with global counterparts in ensuring that all business goals and objectives are met, including but not limited to AUC and on-time delivery targets.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Raw Materials team in onboarding new suppliers and executing different company programs.
• Gather and organize data to support supplier allocation strategies and future season planning.
• Track and monitor development milestones to ensure alignment with the broader product life cycle (PLC) calendar.
• Partner with Pre-Production, Technical, and QA teams during development to flag material risks early.
• Keep material cost sheets updated, perform basic cost analysis, and help identify savings opportunities.
• Collect vendor data to update scorecards and assist in seasonal vendor review meetings.
• Ordering trims for presentation sample; tracking & updating onto PLM
• Assist in updating and communicating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across teams.

Education and Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in trims, garment/textiles design, development and/or production
• Diploma or above credential in Fabric Technology or equivalent
• Background in developing and maintaining vendor and mill relationships
• Solid background in trims research, development, and analysis
• Exposure in vendor scorecarding and remedies development
• Experience in trims allocation, ordering & tracking, and product approvals
• Familiarity of Product Safety/Technology standards for children's apparel and/or products
• Working experience in children's apparel would be an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel including Vlookup and pivot , PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Good command of both verbal and written English skills

Technical Skills

• Ability to understand the design intent while keeping an eye on commercial viability.
• Able to identify risks (quality, safety, or delivery) early and to be escalated to managers immediately.
• Good understanding of different trim manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of safety requirements (especially for kids' wear) to call out safety hazards and suggest alternatives.
• Basic knowledge of raw material costs and how they impact final garment profitability.
