Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. in Lahore is seeking a Sourcing Merchandiser to lead development and execution of product programs from development to shipment in line with seasonal calendars. Location: Lahore.

You will build and implement sourcing strategies to meet cost, quality and on-time delivery targets, manage suppliers, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure standards and customer requirements are met. A bachelor degree and experience in apparel or sourcing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a renowned local or international university.
• Foundation level experience in apparel (tops/knits) or sourcing industry.

Responsibilities

• Source, develop and follow through products from development to shipment according to seasonal calendars.
• Develop short and long-term sourcing strategies for respective customer groups.
• Ensure contractors understand and meet our standards and capabilities to satisfy sourcing needs.
• Deliver strong customer service through quick response, problem solving and market intelligence.
• Deliver products (samples and bulk) within Levi Strauss & Co. specifications, both aesthetic and physical.

About The Role

To manage and develop the sourcing team towards successful execution of product programs to meet brands’ requirements and needs. Develop & implement sourcing strategies to support business needs and achieve cost effectiveness, quality and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, develop and follow through all products placed from development to shipment according to seasonal calendars to meet customers’ requirement and needs.
• Develop short and long term sourcing strategies for respective customer groups to support the brand strategy and the business needs.
• Ensure contractors understand and comply with our standards, and their capabilities as well as competitiveness are able to meet with our sourcing needs.
• Achieve strong customer services through quick response, effective problem solving and providing creative options as well as market intelligence.
• Deliver products (samples and bulk) within LS&CO specifications - both aesthetic and physical standards.

Experience and Education

• Should have a bachelor degree from a renowned local or international University Foundation level experience in apparel (tops/knits) or sourcing industry.
