Title: MEP Estimator Intern

Full-Time, Onsite

Location: Plaza ONE, Next to PSO Pump, Main GT Road, Near DHA Phase 2 Gate 1, Islamabad

Working Hours: 2 PM – 11 PM (Pakistan Standard Time)

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated MEP Estimator Intern to support our estimation team in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) projects. This role is ideal for recent graduates who want hands‑on experience in the US construction industry while learning how MEP systems are planned, evaluated and estimated during the bidding process in US.

As an MEP Intern, you will assist senior team members with quantity take‑offs, cost analysis, documentation and coordination tasks. You’ll gain exposure to real project workflows and learn the fundamentals of MEP estimating in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Job Description

• Assist with quantity take-offs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related MEP systems.
• Support the review of drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
• Help collect and organize subcontractor and vendor quotations.
• Assist in developing preliminary cost estimates and project budgets.
• Perform data entry and maintain estimating logs, spreadsheets, and pricing databases.
• Support the preconstruction team with proposal preparation and documentation.
• Learn to use industry-standard estimating and take-off software under supervision.
• Collaborate with project engineers and estimators in day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
• Basic understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical) is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, BlueBeam, or PlanSwift is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• A proactive attitude and interest in building a career in construction or MEP estimating.
