The Medical Officer (Anesthesia) is responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia and perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures. The role involves assisting in pre-operative assessments, monitoring patients during anesthesia administration, managing post-operative recovery, and responding to emergency situations to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes. The Medical Officer works closely with consultants, surgeons, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care while adhering to established medical ethics, hospital policies, and clinical protocols. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Medical Officer supports departmental operations through administrative tasks, participation in research activities, and continuous professional development initiatives. The position requires strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work efficiently in a demanding hospital and operating theatre environment. Candidates should possess an MBBS degree with relevant anesthesia training, a valid medical license, and certifications such as BLS and ACLS, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and professional conduct.
MBBS Degree with valid PMDC license.
Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands on experience in managing and treating patients in the Anesthesia.
