Job summary

Zameen is seeking a Mechanical Site Supervisor to oversee on-site execution of HVAC, plumbing and firefighting systems, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and schedules.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, review drawings, maintain safety and quality, prepare progress reports, and support pre-commissioning activities on high-rise, commercial or industrial projects in Lahore.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering and 3–7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of mechanical execution experience in high-rise, commercial or industrial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mechanical activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth execution of works.
• Monitor installation of HVAC systems, plumbing, firefighting systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Ensure work progress aligns with project timelines and milestones.
• Review and verify mechanical drawings before execution.
• Ensure all works are executed as per approved shop drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Conduct inspections and ensure quality control standards are maintained.
• Report and rectify any discrepancies or deviations from the approved plans.
• Maintain proper documentation of daily site activities, manpower, and material usage.
• Prepare daily-weekly progress reports for management review.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Electrical, Civil, ELV) for smooth integration of mechanical works.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with consultants, clients, and main contractors as required.
• Follow up with procurement for timely material delivery and verify material quality upon receipt.
• Identify and resolve site execution issues in coordination with the engineering team.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
