Role Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with practical pump and technical‑sales experience to join our technical‑commercial team in Lahore. The role combines field technical expertise with client‑facing responsibilities. You will diagnose pump and system performance, recommend upgrades or replacements, and prepare proposals and quotations. You will collaborate with procurement and service teams to ensure timely delivery, installation and commissioning. The role requires travel to client sites for surveys, inspections and project oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical surveys of pumping systems, perform root‑cause analysis and prepare diagnostic reports
• Design or specify pump systems, select appropriate models and prepare scope of supply
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates and commercial quotations in coordination with sales
• Perform field commissioning, alignment, vibration checks, testing and troubleshooting of pumps
• Collaborate with procurement and service teams to arrange spare parts and schedule maintenance
• Provide client demonstrations, technical presentations and post‑sale support
• Maintain documentation: OEM datasheets, spare‑parts lists, warranty records and technical reports

Job Specification

• Must‑have: 3+ years hands‑on experience with centrifugal and positive‑displacement pumps (end‑suction, multistage, submersible, rotary)
• Technical knowledge: pump performance curves, NPSH, pump selection, piping systems, hydraulic calculations
• Field skills: field measurements, vibration checks, alignment, commissioning tests, root‑cause troubleshooting
• Sales/bid skills: preparing technical proposals, cost estimates, presenting solutions to clients
• Documentation: familiarity with OEM datasheets, spare‑parts identification, warranty processes, technical reporting
• Software/Tools: CAD, pump selection software, MS Office, CRM tools
• Other: good communication and negotiation; valid driving license; readiness to travel regularly to client sites
