Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled procurement professional to determine material quantities and order dates to support master production schedules.

The role initiates purchases, expedites orders, and collaborates with suppliers and planning teams to balance supply and demand, while ensuring inventory accuracy and timely updates. The ideal candidate has experience in procurement, PFEP, and supplier interaction, with strong data skills to drive on-time delivery and efficiency across the supply

Qualifications

• Procurement experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Familiarity with PFEP and master data management is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage supplier performance and lead times.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of MS commodity parts from various suppliers.
• Follow with suppliers for weekly material receipt and timely feedback to planning team.
• Create releases for domestic parts for CPG & PHP as per agreed process.
• Manage exceptions and rescheduling releases in ASCP as per process to have right inventory in warehouse.
• Coordinate with warehouse & Logistics teams.
• OTD calculation for PHP & CPG suppliers and RCA update.
• Arrange meetings with Senior members from suppliers.
• Visit suppliers to ensure on time supply when necessary.
