Job summary

JazzWorld in Islamabad seeks a Manager Jazz GSM Strategy to shape the Consumer strategy and translate it into measurable outcomes. You will work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to challenge assumptions and drive decisions at scale.

A strong background in strategy, analytics, and P&L dynamics, plus leadership experience, is essential for success in this role. You will build strategic narratives and drive collaboration across the organisation.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Management Sciences, a quantitative discipline or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CFA, ACMA or CIMA are a plus.
4–7 years of relevant experience in strategy, business planning, commercial analytics, pricing, finance or related field.
Experience in telecom, consumer businesses, digital services or other commercially driven industries; international exposure is a plus.
Strong understanding of business models, commercial drivers, financial performance and P&L dynamics.
Ability to bring multiple stakeholder perspectives together into one coherent strategy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, moving from data to insight to recommendation.
Excellent storytelling and executive presentation skills for senior leadership.
Confidence to challenge, influence and align senior stakeholders across functions.
Experience in leading, coaching or developing team members.
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Think-Cell.

Responsibilities

Shape the Strategy: Develop the annual Consumer strategy by uniting product and business plans into a single clear strategy.
Track the Business: Lead quarterly reviews and forecast alignment with the plan.
Identify What’s Driving Performance: Analyze gaps and root causes to inform recommendations.
Enable Strategic Decisions: Align strategy, plans, forecasts with FP&A and P&L considerations.
Shape the Story for Leadership: Create executive-level narratives and presentations for leadership forums.
Connect Strategy Across Jazz: Interface with Corporate Strategy to ensure alignment.
Lead Strategic Opportunities: Evaluate high-impact opportunities with financial analysis.
Build the Team: Coach the Expert Jazz GSM Strategy and raise analytical capabilities.
