Job summary

JazzWorld in Islamabad seeks an Expert Jazz GSM Strategy to provide analytical foundation for Consumer strategy, linking inputs to the business plan and maintaining models and trackers.

You will analyze quarterly performance vs plan, develop financial models for opportunities like spectrum auctions, and present findings to senior leaders. Collaboration with product owners and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, Business, Economics, Finance, Management Sciences or related field.
• CA/ACCA/CFA/ACMA/CIMA professional qualifications encouraged.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience in telecom pricing, strategy, or business planning.
• Experience in telecom segments and understanding of the business model is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate inputs from product owners across Jazz GSM into the strategy model, linking initiatives to the plan baseline and ambition.
• Maintain the strategy tracker, monitoring KPIs monthly and quarterly and flagging gaps early.
• Support quarterly strategy reviews, analyze performance vs the locked plan, and update the strategy model accordingly.
• Conduct deviation analysis to identify root causes and prepare findings for review by the Manager Jazz GSM Strategy.
• Track the support requirements the plan ambition depends on, including budget, network and advertising spend, and report on delivery status.
• Gather and analyze market and competitive intelligence to inform strategy and narratives.
• Prepare analysis and executive-level presentation material for senior leadership.
• Develop financial models and business cases for strategic projects using DCF, NPV, IRR and payback analysis.
• Coordinate with Planning, FP&A and BI teams to ensure data consistency across plan, forecasts and strategy.
