Job summary

Responsibilities

Validate completion of tasks, commissioning, and test protocols for compliance and quality.* Ensure plant operations comply with NEPRA grid codes, NTDC/NPCC dispatch instructions, and CPPA metering protocols. Enforce electrical safety practices including lock-out/tag-out, earth switching, and arc flash protection.* Review SCADA and DCS data trends, alarms, and disturbances for root cause analysis.* Maintain records of maintenance logs, trip reports, test results, and equipment history. Identify critical spares, raise requisitions, and coordinate with procurement and store for timely availability.* Recommend equipment upgrades and modernization based on aging analysis.* Liaise with NTDC, NPCC, CPPA-G, and regulatory authorities for metering, grid synchronization, and technical audits.## Qualification and ExperienceB.Sc. or B.E. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering from HEC-recognized university. Masters shall be preferred. Registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Certification in SCADA systems or Power System Protection preferred **10-15 years** of progressive experience in electrical operations within combined cycle or thermal power plants. At least **2-4 years** in a supervisory capacity in electrical and control systems. Hands-on experience in high voltage systems, generator protection is preferred.
