Job summary

JazzWorld is seeking a Manager, Charging & Billing to own the technology landscape across Charging, Rating, Mediation and Billing platforms within its BSS ecosystem in Islamabad. You will drive governance, modernization, performance and lifecycle management while enabling new products, revenue streams and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT/DBSS management experience in telecom.
• Hands-on experience with Charging, Mediation, Rating and Billing systems.
• Knowledge of TM Forum, eTOM and SID standards.
• Experience with ITSM and frameworks including ITIL and Agile.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle, roadmap, governance and architecture of Charging, Rating, Mediation and Billing platforms.
• Drive platform modernization to improve performance, scalability, resilience and operational efficiency.
• Ensure availability, security and disaster recovery readiness for business-critical platforms.
• Lead major upgrades, migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Enable new products, services, bundles, promotions, tariffs and enterprise offerings through timely charging capabilities.
• Partner with Commercial, Enterprise and Digital teams to support new product launches and evolving charging models.
• Manage strategic vendors and system integrators against SLAs and KPIs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audits readiness.
• Act as technology focal point for Charging & Billing initiatives.
• Drive adoption of industry best practices and telecom standards across the ecosystem.

As Manager Charging & Billing, you will own the technology landscape across Charging, Rating, Mediation and Billing platforms within Jazz's BSS ecosystem. You will work across Technology, Commercial, Enterprise, Digital and external partners to evolve critical platforms and deliver reliable charging and billing capabilities at scale.

What you’ll own

• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle, roadmap, governance and architecture of Charging, Rating, Mediation and Billing platforms.
• Drive platform optimization, modernization and transformation to improve performance, scalability, resilience and operational efficiency.
• Ensure availability, reliability, capacity planning, security and disaster recovery readiness across business‑critical platforms.
• Lead major upgrades, migrations, transformations and modernization initiatives.
• Enable new products, services, bundles, promotions, tariffs and enterprise offerings through timely charging and billing capabilities.
• Partner with Commercial, Enterprise and Digital teams to support new product launches, revenue streams and evolving charging models.
• Manage strategic vendors and system integrators, ensuring performance against SLAs, KPIs and contractual commitments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards and organizational policies, while supporting internal and external audits.
• Act as the technology focal point for Charging & Billing initiatives, requirements and strategic decisions.
• Drive adoption of industry best practices and telecom standards across the Charging & Billing ecosystem.

You may be a strong fit if you:

• Bring 7+ years of IT/DBSS management experience in the telecom industry, with strong exposure to BSS platforms.
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Have hands‑on experience in Charging, Mediation, Rating and Billing systems.
• Bring strong technical knowledge of BSS Charging & Billing platforms and telecom standards including TM Forum, eTOM and SID.
• Have experience with ITSM and project management frameworks, including ITIL and Agile.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, leadership and team management skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
