Job summary

Ready Mix Concrete, based in Karachi, is seeking a Manager Taxation to lead the taxation function and drive compliance across Income and Sales taxes. The role requires strong leadership and a track record in corporate tax management.

Ideal candidates hold CA/CMA/ACCA/MBA in finance with at least five years in a similar role, and possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to coordinate with consultants and other finance teams.

Qualifications

• CA/CMA/ACCA/MBA in finance from any reputed university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the taxation team and manage income and sales tax matters.
• Ensure tax audits, monitoring, and compliance including filings.
• Respond to tax notices and withhold proper tax.
• Coordinate with tax consultants and other finance teams.
• Provide leadership and develop tax team members.
• Ensure business compliance with tax regulations.
• Handle tax reporting and planning; identify tax savings.
• Deliver timely responses to tax issues raised by sellers.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead the taxation team member.
• To manage whole Income and Sales related matters for the company.
• Able to responsible for tax audits, monitoring and anything related to taxation.
• Able to responsible for all tax relevant compliance comprising filing of Income tax and monthly returns.
• Able to respond to tax notices efficiently.
• Make sure proper tax is withheld from payments being made.
• Cooperate with Tax consultants and delivering them with acceptable information.
• Coordinate with other finance sub-teams like treasury team, billing team, etc.
• Deliver leadership to the tax team and able to responsible for development of Team members.
• Able to responsible for keeping business compliant as per with tax regulations.
• Competently handling tax reporting and planning.
• Classifying ways for tax savings, delivering timely responses to tax problems raises by the sellers.
