Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for a Rawalpindi facility. The role focuses on maximizing plant efficiency, planning preventive maintenance, and safely managing maintenance activities across HFO engines, turbines, pumps, and associated systems.

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years in IPP or similar sectors, with PEC registration and strong electrical, engine, and mechanical knowledge to lead a critical maintenance team.

Qualifications

• B.E (Mechanical) with PEC registration and minimum 12 years experience in an IPP or similar industry.
• Experience maintaining HFO engines, steam turbines, air compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the plant at its maximum efficiency.
• Manage plant maintenance for the assigned plant.
• Coordinate with maintenance planner for safe execution of activities.
• Plan preventive maintenance.
• Implement contract management processes and safe, cost-effective practices.
• Optimize company resources and plan improvements for cost reduction.
• Prepare inspection and service reports within contract timelines.
• Command and supervise the maintenance team and job orders.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance jobs.
• Ensure safe working practices and zero breakdowns.
