Job summary

Pakistan Tobacco Company in Jhelum, Pakistan, seeks a Maintenance Lead to coordinate machine maintenance and drive efficiency across operations.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background (Bachelors/DAE/B-Tech) and 1–3 years in maintenance, plus knowledge of Power BI and SAP; familiarity with cigarette manufacturing technologies and SAP-based preventive maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree, DAE or B-Tech preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in a maintenance role.
Knowledge of data analytics systems like Power BI and SAP Systems.
Must have knowledge of maintenance strategies.
Familiar with cigarette manufacturing technologies and standard operation/maintenance methods.
Experience with SAP-based preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and complete machinery maintenance, including breakdown and preventive maintenance, to ensure continuous machine operation.
Plan and carry out quality improvement initiatives in cooperation with other departments.
Detect training gaps and provide feedback for skill growth and employee performance.
Plan and complete machine conversions to meet market demand per the Master Production Schedule.
Monitor spare parts consumption and maintain availability.
Implement guidelines and knowledge sharing with other functions and factories within Operations.
Ensure execution of maintenance activities to achieve production and quality targets.
