The Lead UI/UX Designer will be responsible for defining the overall user experience strategy, leading the end-to-end product design process, and ensuring the delivery of world-class digital experiences across web and mobile applications. This role combines strategic thinking, hands-on design execution, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in UX research, interaction design, user interface design, design systems, usability testing, and product thinking while mentoring designers and driving design excellence across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Product & UX Leadership:

• Lead end-to-end UI/UX projects from product discovery through design delivery.
• Translate business objectives, user needs, and technical requirements into intuitive and scalable digital experiences.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, design thinking sessions, and product ideation workshops.
• Create user journeys, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Advocate for user lifecycle centered design principles throughout the product.
• Ensure accessibility, usability, responsiveness, and consistency across all digital products.
• Drive product thinking and experience strategy to maximize user engagement and business outcomes.

Design Systems & Governance:

• Build, maintain, and continuously evolve scalable design systems across products.
• Establish reusable components, design tokens, UI patterns, libraries, and documentation standards.
• Define and enforce design governance, quality standards, and best practices.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless design development handoff.
• Conduct design reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain consistency and excellence.
• AI Ensure pixel perfect implementation through collaboration with development teams.

AI-Powered Design Operations:

• Lead the adoption of AI powered tools to improve design quality, efficiency and scalability.

• Lead client discovery sessions and requirements gathering workshops.
• Present design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and strategic recommendations confidently.
• Translate complex technical solutions into clear business outcomes and user benefits.
• Build trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication and consultation.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, feedback cycles, approvals, and design alignment.
• Act as a strategic design partner throughout project lifecycles.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Mentor UI/UX Designers through coaching, feedback, and career development support.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and learning oriented design culture.
• Review design deliverables to ensure quality, usability, and alignment with business objectives.
• Identify skill gaps and implement professional development initiatives.
• Promote knowledge sharing through design critiques, workshops, and internal training sessions.
• Inspire and guide the design team toward excellence and continuous improvement.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, Marketing Teams, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
• Align design priorities with business objectives, technical feasibility, and user needs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and roadmap discussions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure efficient implementation of design solutions.
• Support product strategy discussions through user insights and design recommendations.

Research & Continuous Improvement:

• Conduct and oversee user research activities including interviews, usability testing, and validation studies.
• Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform heuristic evaluations, competitor analysis, and UX audits.
• Measure design effectiveness through user engagement, usability metrics, and business outcomes.
• Stay current with emerging UX methodologies, design trends, AI technologies, and accessibility standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in design , Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5-8 years of experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, or Digital Experience Design.
• Proven experience leading enterprise software, SaaS, or digital product design projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, product ownership, and measurable business impact.
• Experience designing B2B SaaS platforms and enterprise applications.
• Experience managing design-to-development handoff processes.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies and modern development workflows.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
