Job summary

National Land Agency, within the Surveys & Mapping Division, seeks a Supervisor for Topographic Data Management to coordinate the mapping section and ensure high-quality aerial imagery and reliable topographic maps. The successful candidate reports to the Manager, Mapping Services and leads mapping activities.

The role requires a geomatics background with several years in the field, supervisory training, and experience with mapping software.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Geomatics with minimum four years in Geomatics environment.
• Diploma in Photogrammetry or Cartography with training and minimum six years in Geomatics environment.
• Supervisory Management training and practical supervisory experience.
• Experience using mapping applications will be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the Topographic Mapping Section.
• Maintain quality aerial photographic imagery.
• Maintain a reliable system of topographic maps and map products.
