Job summary

National Land Agency, within the Surveys & Mapping Division, seeks a Supervisor for Topographic Data Management to coordinate the mapping section and ensure high-quality aerial imagery and reliable topographic maps. The successful candidate reports to the Manager, Mapping Services and leads mapping activities.

The role requires a geomatics background with several years in the field, supervisory training, and experience with mapping software.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Geomatics with minimum four years in Geomatics environment.
• Diploma in Photogrammetry or Cartography with training and minimum six years in Geomatics environment.
• Supervisory Management training and practical supervisory experience.
• Experience using mapping applications will be an asset.

Supervisor, Topographic Data Management (Vacant)

The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Mapping Services.

Job Purpose

To coordinate the activities of the Topographic Mapping Section to ensure the maintenance of quality aerial photographic imagery and a reliable system of topographic maps and maps products.

Minimum Required Education And Experience

• First Degree in Geomatics area or equivalent Earth-related Science discipline and a minimum of four (4) years experience in a Geomatics environment

or

• Diploma in Photogrammetry or Cartography with relevant training and a minimum of six (6) years experience in a Geomatics environment.
• Supervisory Management training and practical experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience using mapping applications will be an asset

Remuneration Package

Salary Range (Level 7) - $4,266,270.00 -$5,737,650.00 per annum
