Job summary

ACE Properties is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor for its Construction Department in Sarai Alamgir. The role involves carrying out land, topographical, engineering, and construction surveys for property development and infrastructure projects.

You will establish survey controls, set out roads and utilities, verify site levels and prepare as-built drawings, ensuring data supports planning, design, and construction activities across projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in land surveying, construction, real estate development, or infrastructure projects.
• Practical experience in road, sewerage, drainage, earthwork, and site development surveying.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and modern surveying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land, topographical, and engineering surveys using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, auto levels, digital levels, and other surveying equipment.
• Carry out surveys for roads, sewerage, drainage, utilities, buildings, plots, boundary walls, and other infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points, levels, coordinates, and survey controls in accordance with approved drawings and project requirements.
• Set out road alignments, centerlines, right-of-way, levels, gradients, profiles, and other road development works.
• Provide accurate levels and coordinates for earthworks, subgrade, subbase, road works, and other construction activities.
• Assist the Construction Team in setting out building plots, structures, boundary walls, and other development works.
• Interpret and mark land boundaries based on legal documents, approved drawings, and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain site layout plans, survey maps, level sheets, field books, survey records, and as-built drawings.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientedLand Surveyorto join the Construction Department atACE Properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate land, topographical, engineering, and construction surveys for property development and infrastructure projects.

The role involves establishing survey controls, setting out roads and utilities, verifying site levels and dimensions, preparing survey drawings and as-built documentation, and providing accurate survey data to support planning, design, and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct land, topographical, and engineering surveys usingTotal Stations, GPS/GNSS, auto levels, digital levels, and other surveying equipment.


• Carry out surveys for roads, sewerage, drainage, utilities, buildings, plots, boundary walls, and other infrastructure and development works.


• Establish and maintainbenchmarks, reference points, levels, coordinates, and survey controlsin accordance with approved drawings and project requirements.

• Carry out measurements and surveys for quantity calculations and preparation of as-built documentation.


• Check actual site levels, dimensions, coordinates, and construction progress against approved drawings and report any discrepancies.


• Verify the accuracy of survey measurements, calculations, coordinates, and levels before providing data to the Construction and Design teams.


• Coordinate withConstruction, Civil Engineering, Design, Planning, and Project Management teamsregarding survey requirements and site discrepancies.


• Maintain accurate records of all survey data and provide reports on survey findings and site conditions.


• Assist in the preparation and verification of as-built drawings and other project documentation.


• Ensure all surveying activities are carried out accurately and in accordance withapproved drawings, specifications, quality standards, company policies, and applicable legal requirements.


• Monitor, maintain, and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy and proper functionality.


• Perform other surveying and site-related duties as assigned by the management.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong command ofAutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant surveying and engineering software.


• Proficiency in operatingTotal Station, GPS/GNSS, auto level, digital level, and related surveying equipment.


• Good understanding of land surveying principles, construction drawings, engineering drawings, and site development works.


• Knowledge of legal land descriptions, boundaries, and relevant surveying requirements.


• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations.


• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.


• Ability to identify and report discrepancies between actual site conditions and approved drawings.


• Good communication and coordination skills.


• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a multidisciplinary team.


• Willingness to work on construction sites and development projects as required.

Education & Experience:
