Silicon Labs is seeking an experienced RTL Design Engineer for their Modem team. You will design and verify high-performance RTL for wireless modem baseband and PHY-layer blocks, defining microarchitecture and DSP modules, and optimizing for power, performance, and area.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust IP integration. The role emphasizes hands-on design, verification, and collaboration across modem systems, analog, and SoC teams to deliver high-quality modem IPs for

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of digital RTL design experience.
• Strong expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL design and microarchitecture.
• Experience with DSP blocks such as FIR filters, FFTs, correlators, or FEC modules.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop synthesizable RTL for wireless modem digital baseband and PHY-layer blocks.
• Define microarchitecture and implement DSP modules (FIR, FFTs, correlators, FEC).
• Optimize RTL for Power, Performance, and Area (PPA).
• Develop testbenches and verification plans to ensure functional correctness.
• Collaborate with verification, SoC, and modem teams to ensure integration.
