Veeam Software, Inc. is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join a globally distributed team building a new SaaS platform that underpins enterprise applications for data analytics.

You will ensure design, implementation, and quality goals are met across the framework and products. Responsibilities include architecture work, end-to-end feature delivery, and collaborating across teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Competenze

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Experience building highly available distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of multi-threaded applications.
• Proficiency in GoLang, Java, C++, or Python.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting.
• Strong software development practices: rapid development, peer code reviews, and solid unit/integration tests.
• Experience with microservices and REST-based HTTP/2 architectures.
• Experience with SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (Mongo/Elasticsearch).
• Knowledge of performance tuning, profiling, and software metrics tools.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins) and agile methodologies.

• Be part of a globally distributed team designing and developing the core backend platform.
• Create architecture, functional specs, design documents, and developer test plans.
• Coordinate end-to-end development, deployment, and testing of new features.
