Job summary

Mimetic Machines seeks a Fleet Manager to run field operations in Karachi, overseeing field engineers, equipment, and multiple sites. You will plan the week, execute daily on-site actions, and be accountable for what the team delivers.

You will spend most weeks on site, uphold safety and operating standards, and report weekly on site performance and progress. Urdu and English fluency in Karachi is required.

Qualifications

• Four to seven years in field operations or field sales, with at least three leading a team of ten or more on the ground.
• Delivered a monthly target through a team, and can name the number you watched every day to do it.
• Exacting about assets and records.
• Speak Urdu and English fluently, based in Karachi, and travel across the city every day.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run the week. Set the site plan, assign the team, and adjust in real time as priorities change.
• Own the equipment. Every item issued, returned, and accounted for, every day.
• Lead from the floor. Spend most of your week on site with the team, uphold our operating and safety standards, and see the work for yourself.
• Set and track targets. Per person and per site, reviewed daily and shared weekly.
• Grow what we have. More from every site that is already ours, and new sites brought online smoothly with the Partnerships Manager.
• Build the team. Hire, train, and develop field engineers, and decide who stays.
