Job summary

Abacus Global is seeking a Junior Support Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for the SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform. You will troubleshoot application issues and support business-critical eCommerce operations while collaborating with senior engineers and development teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and hands-on experience with Hybris components, impex, and Backoffice/HAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in application support, preferably supporting SAP Commerce (Hybris) environments.
• Basic understanding of the SAP Commerce (Hybris) architecture and platform components.

Responsibilities

• Understands the Hybris type system, items.xml, and ServiceLayer basics (models, DAOs, converters/populators).
• Reads and writes impex; runs FlexibleSearch queries; navigates Backoffice and HAC.
• Works with core commerce modules — catalog, cart, checkout, WCMS, pricing/promotions — at a functional level.
• General support: logs and triages tickets in the ITSM tool (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira), follows ITIL incident/service-request handling, respects SLA timers, and executes documented runbooks before escalating.
