Job summary

SMEC (an SJ Group company) seeks a Junior Engineer to support a hydropower project in KPK. You will assist in civil engineering activities across planning, design, construction supervision, estimation, scheduling and progress monitoring.

You will work with senior engineers, review drawings and reports, and help ensure safety and quality on site. A strong communicative and collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./B.E. in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil engineering, preferably in hydropower, dams or major infrastructure.
• Experience in site supervision, construction monitoring, estimation or project coordination.
• Good understanding of civil drawings, specifications and construction practices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and execution of civil works.
• Support site supervision and monitor construction activities against drawings and specs.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, measurements, estimation and reporting.
• Support project scheduling, progress tracking and site reports.
• Review drawings and technical documents and resolve site-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with standards, safety and requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams to support smooth execution of civil works.
