Job summary

SMEC is seeking a Junior Engineer to support a hydropower project based in KPK. The role involves assisting with civil engineering activities across planning, design, construction supervision, estimation, scheduling and progress monitoring. You will support senior engineers with planning, design and execution of civil works and help with site supervision and reporting.

Ideal candidates have a B.Sc./B.E. in Civil Engineering and experience in civil projects, preferably hydropower or major

Qualifications

• B.Sc./B.E. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in civil engineering, preferably in hydropower or major infrastructure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil engineering activities across planning, design, construction supervision, estimation, scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Assist senior engineers with planning, design and execution of civil works.
• Support site supervision and monitor construction activities against drawings and specifications.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, measurements, estimation, costing and project reporting.
• Support project scheduling, progress tracking and site reports.
