Job summary

SMEC is seeking a Planning Engineer for a key hydropower project based in Peshawar. You will develop and manage project schedules, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You should bring 10+ years of planning experience, proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, and strong analytical abilities. This role offers hands-on exposure to major infrastructure initiatives within a global engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of planning/scheduling experience on large infrastructure or hydropower projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project required.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

The role

We are seeking a motivated Planning Engineer to join our team for a key hydropower project based in Peshawar. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands‑on experience in project planning, scheduling, and management, contributing to the successful execution of a high‑impact infrastructure initiative.

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using advanced planning tools.

Suitable applicants will have/be:
