SMEC Pakistan invites applications for a Junior Engineer to support our Hydropower Project based in KPK. The role covers planning, design, construction supervision, estimation, scheduling and progress monitoring under senior engineers.

Suitable candidates hold a B.Sc./B.E. in Civil Engineering, with experience in civil works, site supervision, measurements, and reporting. Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./B.E. in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant civil engineering experience, preferably in hydropower, dams or major infrastructure projects.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with planning, design and execution of civil works.
• Support site supervision and monitor construction activities against drawings and specs.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, measurements, estimation, costing and project reporting.
• Support project scheduling, progress tracking and preparation of site reports.
• Review drawings and technical documents and help resolve site-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams to support smooth execution of civil works.
