Job summary

Connect Logistics seeks an IT Officer to be the primary technical contact for system operations, security hardware, and user support in Multan. You will maintain LAN/WAN networks, manage CCTV, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, biometric attendance, and IP PABX systems to keep IT services running smoothly.

Responsibilities include user support, system installation, network maintenance, security audits, and asset management. A Bachelor's degree in CS/IT and 1–2 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant IT Officer/ Desktop Support Engineer/ Network Administrator experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking protocols, hardware troubleshooting, and surveillance/biometric equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level user support for hardware, software, and network issues via email, phone, or remote assistance.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
• Administer LANs and WANs for secure, fast connectivity.
• Install, monitor, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, IP-PABX, and Biometric Attendance Systems.

As an IT Officer, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for system operations, security hardware, and user support. You will be responsible for maintaining our network integrity (LAN/WAN), managing site surveillance systems (CCTV, DVR/NVR, IP Cameras), overseeing biometric attendance and IP PABX setups, and keeping all administrative IT equipment running without interruption.

Responsibilities

• User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization via email, phone, or remote assistance.
• System Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software applications, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
• Network & Infrastructure Maintenance: Administer local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to ensure maximum network security, speed, and connectivity.
• Security & Surveillance Systems: Handle installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting for CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, POE switches, IP-based cameras, IP PABX, and Biometric Attendance Systems.
• IT Security & Audits: Implement security policies, enforce data protection procedures, and conduct routine IT security audits and risk assessments.
• Procurement & Asset Management: Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records for all IT equipment, assisting in the selection and procurement of new IT devices and services.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience as an IT Officer, Desktop Support Engineer, or Network Administrator.
• Core Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking protocols, hardware troubleshooting, and surveillance/biometric equipment.
