Job summary

Translation Empire PK is seeking a Business Continuity Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of our ISO 22301 BCM system. You will ensure alignment with standards, perform risk assessments, and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate risks.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in BCM/Risk and 2+ years of ISO 22301 experience, with CBCP desirable. Office-based position in Rawalpindi area with compliance audits and training responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business Continuity Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP) is highly desirable.
• 2+ years of proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing business continuity plans within an ISO 22301 framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and maintenance of the ISO 22301 BCM System.
• Ensure BCM processes align with ISO 22301 standards and other frameworks.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify threats and vulnerabilities to operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Perform business impact analysis identifying critical resources and recovery objectives.
• Develop and maintain BCM plans, procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate internal audits and ensure audit findings are addressed.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System
• Ensure that business continuity processes align with ISO 22301 standards and other relevant frameworks
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Conduct business impact analysis to identify the critical resources including maximum tolerable downtime, recovery time objective and recovery point objective
• Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans, procedures, and documentation
• Conduct regular reviews and updates to ensure the effectiveness of continuity measures
• Establish and manage incident response, crisis management and disaster recovery framework
• Coordinate and conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of continuity and response plans
• Analyze test results and incidents to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary enhancements
• Provide training to employees on business continuity principles, procedures, and their roles in a disruption
• Foster a culture of preparedness and resilience across the organization
• Ensure that all relevant documentation is up-to-date and accessible to key stakeholders
• Plan and conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 22301 standards
• Collaborate with department heads to address and rectify non-conformities identified during audits
• Coordinate external audits by certification bodies and regulatory agencies
• Ensure the organization's readiness for external assessments and certifications

Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business Continuity Management, Risk Management, or a related field
• Certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP - Certified Business Continuity Professional) is highly desirable
• 2+ years of proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing business continuity plans within an ISO 22301 framework
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex processes and projects
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to business continuity
