Job summary

Mashreq Bank Pakistan seeks an experienced Senior Islamic Banking Product professional to drive the Islamic proposition and digital journeys across NE0 and NEOBIZ. You will launch and manage the Islamic product suite, ensuring competitive offerings aligned with client needs and regulatory guidelines.

You will lead Modaraba Pool management, coordinate with Shariah/Legal/Compliance, and work with squads, technology, and operations to deliver seamless Islamic banking solutions and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of hands-on Product, Operations, Controls experience with a leading bank with Islamic offering.
• Understanding of Shariah Governance concepts and liaison with support/product units.
• Ability to lead critical items independently coordinating with product teams.
• Strong commercial orientation and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow Islamic Banking business and product suite with digital journeys across all verticals.
• Launch and manage Islamic proposition and products while ensuring competitive offerings.
• Coordinate with Shariah Compliance/Legal/Compliance for approvals.
• Manage Modaraba Pool creation, pools, weights and profit rates with regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with squads, technology and operations to rollout front-end journeys and back-end tech.
• Conduct UATs on tech upgrades and new launches and provide product trainings.
• Ensure Shariah governance clearances and maintain controls and regulatory checks.
• Develop Islamic product DOIs / SOPs with stakeholders.
