Job summary

PwC is seeking a Project Trainee to join its Independence & Compliance team. You will help manage data within the Independence compliance system and support delivery across a global network, contributing to ongoing compliance initiatives.

As part of the team, you will train users on PwC Global compliance tools, develop training materials, and assist in ensuring proper controls and monitoring are applied while working on diverse client and internal engagements.

Qualifications

Our Independence & Compliance Team helps the firm, its partners, and staff, manage a range of regulatory and professional requirements to ensure the firm’s independence from audit and assurance clients. We advise a broad range of internal stakeholders on the Independence requirements surrounding PwC’s relationships and interactions with third parties, and we use Global compliance systems and processes to clear and monitor arrangements within our vast community of solvers.

As a Project Trainee, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues. As part of our Independence & Compliance team, you’ll be responsible for the following:

• Enter data into the Independence compliance system, utilizing your knowledge of organizational hierarchies, mega conglomerates, and group structures to accurately set them up within the system.
• Participate in an international network of Independence specialists.
• Advise engagement teams on the application of Independence rules and policies.
• Train users and ensure the correct use of PwC Global compliance systems.
• Develop training materials and process documents, and deliver Independence & Compliance training across the firm.
• Ensure Independence controls and Compliance monitoring activities are appropriately applied.
• Manage service delivery to ensure that Independence & Compliance queries are answered promptly.
• Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths and address development areas.
• Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance.
