PwC International in Pakistan seeks a Manager to lead day-to-day audit engagements for financial services clients, including banks and asset managers. You will plan, execute and report, ensuring high quality, technology-enabled audits in line with PwC methodology and local regulations.
The role requires three-plus years post-qualification experience, strong IFRS/ISA knowledge, and proven leadership in client management and engagement delivery.

The Manager will lead the day-to-day planning, execution and completion of audit and assurance engagements for financial services clients, including banks, digital and microfinance banks, development finance institutions, insurance and takaful companies, asset management companies, mutual funds, non-banking finance companies and capital-market entities. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality, technology-enabled audits in accordance with PwC methodology, applicable professional standards and Pakistan’s legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
Minimum three years of post-qualification experience, substantially in external audit and assurance.
Relevant experience auditing financial services entities; exposure to banking, insurance, asset management or capital markets is strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards and ISAs, with practical exposure to IFRS 9; knowledge of IFRS 17 is desirable for insurance assignments.
Sound understanding of financial services regulations, corporate law, governance requirements and financial-statement presentation applicable in Pakistan.
Ability to analyse complex transactions, identify audit implications, exercise professional scepticism and develop practical, well-supported conclusions.
Strong engagement management, team leadership, coaching, client-handling and written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in audit technology, data analytics and Microsoft Office; experience with PwC audit tools is an advantage.
Ability to manage concurrent engagements and meet demanding statutory and internal deadlines.
