Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in ink/paint/coatings manufacturing, with 2+ years in supervision.
• Knowledge of ink/paint formulation, batch processing, and scale-up.
• Strong leadership in production and team management.
• Familiarity with quality control, batch records, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ink formulations for various applications.
• Conduct lab-scale testing and optimize viscosity, drying time, adhesion, color strength, and stability.
• Scale up from lab to production and resolve commercialization challenges.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive cost efficiency.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Ink & Paint Production Manager to lead our ink and paint manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end production from formulation and batch processing to quality control and on-time delivery while driving efficiency, consistency, and compliance across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and innovate ink formulations to meet performance requirements for writing, packaging, and printing applications
• Conduct lab-scale testing and optimize key parameters (viscosity, drying time, adhesion, color strength, stability) using analytical techniques such as (rheology, spectrophotometry, and viscometry to validate performance
• Support product development and scale-up from lab to production, resolving technical challenges during commercialization
• Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing issues while driving continuous improvement in performance and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, marketing, QC, support) to align products with market needs and support new product development, ensuring confidentiality
• Maintain accurate R&D documentation and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ink, paint, or coatings manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven knowledge of ink and paint formulation, batch processing, and production scale-up
• Strong understanding of ink and paint chemistry, raw materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven leadership and team management skills in a production environment
• Solid grasp of quality control systems, batch record management, and regulatory compliance
• Effective problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to production issues and downtime

Proficient in production planning and ERP/inventory management systems.
