The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field and 1+ year of telecom implementation or project management experience.

Pakistan leading telecom company is looking for an experienced Implementation Manager to lead telecom network deployment activities and ensure successful end-to-end project execution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning implementation activities, coordinating with internal teams,, and suppliers, managing site readiness, tracking project progress, resolving deployment issues, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the quality standards.

This role requires necessary project management skills, telecom deployment experience, in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop and manage weekly implementation plans covering site surveys, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Track project milestones and ensure timely execution of deployment activities.
• Coordinate implementation schedules with project managers and cross-functional teams.

Site Readiness & Resource Coordination

• Monitor RFI (Ready for Installation) site status and ensure site readiness.
• Coordinate supplier nomination with planning teams.
• Arrange site access, outage approvals, and implementation prerequisites before deployment.
• Assign work to field teams and Site Engineers while ensuring compliance with implementation procedures.

Material & Procurement Coordination

• Verify purchase order availability for required equipment.
• Follow up on equipment delivery and site receipt.
• Ensure materials are available before implementation activities begin.

Supplier Management

• Conduct daily coordination meetings with planners, suppliers, FSMs, and project teams.
• Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve implementation issues.
• Validate and follow up on Variation Orders where applicable.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor daily installation and commissioning progress.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports.
• Track project KPIs and implementation performance.
• Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions.

Quality & Issue Management

• Register and monitor field issues through ISDP or project management systems.
• Coordinate QC and D-QC activities until successful project closure.
• Resolve RF issues, KPI concerns, quality snags, and operational deficiencies.

Project Closure

• Coordinate Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP).
• Ensure customer acceptance documentation is completed.
• Support Return Transport (RT) activities according to dismantling plans.
• Coordinate Change Requests for theft or faulty equipment cases.
• Ensure timely escalation of critical incidents.

Team Leadership

• Supervise Site Engineers and implementation teams.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews for junior resources.
• Provide coaching and performance improvement feedback.
• Promote compliance with safety procedures and project standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Should have 1+ year of experience in telecom implementation, network deployment, or project management.
• knowledge of telecom rollout and implementation processes.
• Experience managing site installation and commissioning activities.
• understanding of RFI, ATP, QC/DQC, outage management, and site acceptance processes.
• Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors.
