Job summary

Zigabyte is seeking a senior IMDS Subject Matter Expert to serve as the primary technical authority for IMDS within our Field Assistance Services team. This role supports a 24/7 operations environment based at Gunter AFB, Alabama, strengthening readiness and support for IMDS users worldwide.

The SME provides deep system expertise, mentors analysts, develops training, creates troubleshooting workflows, and maintains a knowledge base to improve first-contact resolution and overall performance.

Qualifications

• Five+ years hands-on IMDS experience and support.
• Experience in an operational environment with networks, desktops, and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority for IMDS within the FAS.
• Advise leadership on IMDS issue trends, recurring problems, and training gaps.
• Develop and deliver IMDS training to operational support analysts.
• Create and maintain performance tools, job aids, and troubleshooting workflows.
• Maintain and grow an IMDS knowledge base to improve resolution and first-contact resolution.
