Job summary

LMKR is seeking an experienced Exchange & Cloud Architect to manage a hybrid messaging environment with Exchange Server 2019 on-premises and Microsoft 365 Exchange Online. You will lead migrations from Exchange 2019 to Office 365 and support broader cloud, server, virtualization, security, and backup operations.

You will oversee identity services (Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, Active Directory), and virtualization (Windows/Linux servers, Hyper-V), while ensuring security, continuity, and efficient

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Microsoft messaging, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Exchange Server 2019 administration and Exchange Hybrid deployments.
• Proven experience leading Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 / Office 365 migration projects.
• Experience with cloud security and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the hybrid Exchange environment, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online.
• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 migration projects.
• Manage identity and directory services, including Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, and Active Directory.
• Oversee Windows Server, Linux Server, and Hyper-V virtualization environments.
• Implement and maintain email security, SSL/TLS, WAF, and backup/disaster recovery protocols.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Support broader cloud initiatives across Microsoft Azure, with working knowledge of AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure decisions with business and security requirements.
