Job summary

Telerelation is seeking a Deputy Project Manager (HVAC) to lead mechanical contracting projects and coordinate between clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have 6–8 years of HVAC project management experience, with a strong background in scheduling, budgeting, and technical coordination.

The role focuses on reviewing specifications, managing procurement, and ensuring timely milestones while maintaining quality and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of HVAC project management experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and coordination.
• Proficient with project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC installations and ensure compliance with specifications and NYSCA standards.
• Review project schedules and generate two-week look-ahead plans.
• Analyze blueprints and design specs for HVAC configurations.
• Track costs and budgets weekly; manage change orders with owners and GCs.
• Submit RFIs, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules and work instructions.
• Monitor site progress and ensure milestones are met.
• Recommend quality improvements and cost-saving measures.
• Oversee procurement and delivery of materials with Purchasing.
• Manage contract administration including billing and expenses.
• Lead job closeout activities and warranty tracking.
