Job summary

ICAP invites applications for a Karachi-based Director of Information Technology to drive the organization's technology agenda, including information technology, digital platforms, AI, cybersecurity, data governance and tech operations.

Reporting to the Secretary/CEO with governance oversight, this role leads automation, system modernization and analytics, shaping secure, scalable, future-ready solutions across ICAP's regulatory, education, examination, member services and operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Data Science, AI, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation or a related discipline from an HE C recognized University/Institute.
• Minimum 10 years of technology experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in digital transformation, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, cloud/data platforms and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ICAP’s technology, digital and data strategy.
• Lead IT operations, enterprise applications, digital platforms, AI enablement, cybersecurity and data governance.

Job Responsibilities

ICAP invites applications for a Karachi-based Director Position in the leadership role for its technology agenda, covering information technology, digital platforms, AI, cybersecurity, data governance and tech operations, analytics and technology-enabled transformation. The position reports directly to the Secretary/CEO with strategic oversight by the relevant governance forum. The role will drive digital and data capabilities through secure, scalable and future-ready technology solutions across ICAP’s regulatory, education, examination, member service, and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement ICAP’s technology, digital and data strategy.
• Lead IT operations, enterprise applications, digital platforms, AI enablement, cybersecurity and data governance.
• Drive automation, system modernization, analytics, technology governance and vendor performance.

Job Specifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Data Science, AI, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation or a related discipline from an HEC recognized University / Institute.
• Minimum 10 years’ technology experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in digital transformation, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, cloud/data platforms, AI-enabled solutions and team leadership.
• Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001, CISA, CISM, CISSP, COBIT, ITIL, PMP/Prince2, cloud, data or AI will be an advantage.
