Job summary

Q-Storage in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our international kitchen. You will design menus spanning Asian, European and Middle Eastern cuisines, craft plating concepts, and oversee daily operations to ensure consistency and quality across all courses.

The role requires at least five years as Head Chef in a high-end setting, strong leadership, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
• Extensive knowledge of international cuisines and techniques with an emphasis on Asian cuisine
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Creativity in developing new dishes while also being able to execute classic recipes flawlessly
• Strong communication skills in English (Urdu proficiency is a plus)
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Develop menus featuring a diverse range of international dishes, including but not limited to Asian, European, and Middle Eastern cuisines
• Manage kitchen operations and supervise all staff members to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, plating presentations, and overall quality standards
• Source ingredients from local markets and suppliers to maintain freshness and authenticity in dishes
• Monitor inventory levels and control food costs by implementing portion control measures
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment according to health and safety regulations
