Job summary

Brilliant Systems is seeking a delivery lead who will own multiple client engagements while remaining hands-on with engineering work and architecture input. You will be accountable for delivering what was agreed and for the growth of team members through honest performance conversations.

The role includes running one-to-one growth discussions, maintaining technical standards, conducting interviews, and escalating issues early to prevent project failure.

Qualifications

• Must have managed engineers and helped them improve.
• Hands-on coding ability is still required to review PRs.
• Comfort with client contact and difficult conversations.
• Ability to estimate projects under fixed-price contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery for multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Conduct one-to-one growth conversations and document feedback.
• Maintain technical standards through code review and architecture input.
• Participate in interviews for your own team.
• Escalate early and avoid late leadership involvement in troubled projects.
