Job summary

Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) is seeking a Grants and Projects Associate to strengthen research and outreach impact through effective grant acquisition, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Role focuses on identifying funding opportunities, developing competitive proposals, and ensuring smooth execution of CBS initiatives aligned with LUMS’ objectives and SDGs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (Hons) or Master’s in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in grant writing, project coordination, or donor-funded programmes.
• Prior experience in an academic, research, or development organisation preferred.
• Familiarity with grant cycles, proposal development, and SDG-related initiatives is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and track national and international funding opportunities aligned with CBS’s thematic priorities.
• Develop and coordinate Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, budgets, and related documentation in collaboration with faculty and the LUMS Office of Research.
• Manage the full grant cycle, from concept development and submission to award, reporting, and compliance.
• Support the implementation of CBS projects, student engagement programmes, and outreach events.
• Liaise with donors, partners, and internal stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and resource mobilisation.
• Supervise interns or volunteers and contribute to CBS communications, reports, and publications as needed.
