Job summary

Faysal Bank Limited is seeking a Team Leader for Trade Operations, Import & Export in Lahore. You will lead a 10-person team, oversee daily import/export transactions, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements across documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Leadership ability to manage a team effectively.
• Strong understanding of import-export operations, trade documentation, and regulatory compliance in banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10 trade operations professionals handling import and export transactions.
• Ensure compliance with global trade regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise preparation, verification, and management of import/export documentation (bills of lading, shipping docs, customs paperwork).
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards.
• Conduct training and development sessions to improve team capabilities.
• Monitor performance, set objectives, and provide ongoing feedback to maintain service quality.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve transactions and compliance issues.
• Monitor changes in international trade regulations and adjust operations accordingly.
• Review and approve trade transaction reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify process improvements to streamline import-export workflows.
