Job summary

EY in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking a Manager to lead our Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team. You will drive complex engagements, manage day-to-day client work, and help grow the GCR practice across borders.

The role requires a strong accounting/finance background, 5+ years in domestic and international tax, and proven leadership. You will coach teams, ensure tax quality, and build lasting client relationships in a dynamic professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with strong credentials in accounting, business, finance or taxation.
• MBA or professional qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA/CTA/ADIT) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules/regulations.
• Strong background in tax accounting and tax auditing in a large professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engagements and drive growth of the GCR practice.
• Manage day-to-day client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables.
• Establish, maintain and strengthen client relationships and ensure high-quality services.
• Supervise teams, coach junior members, and ensure adherence to Tax Quality guidelines.
• Identify risks and drive performance-improvement solutions.
