Job summary

Burq is seeking a Full-stack Engineer to take ownership of end-to-end features across backend services and enterprise web applications. You will build robust REST APIs, webhooks, and integrations with customer systems, ensuring reliability under real-world load.

You will work AI-native, using AI tools daily, mentor teammates, and help raise engineering standards across security and design. 4+ years of experience with Node.js/TypeScript, React, AWS, and SQL/NoSQL are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend with Node.js/TypeScript and React.
• Experience building web apps using React or similar modern framework.
• Designing REST APIs and microservices with reliable, scalable architecture.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and AWS.
• Experience integrating with third-party systems and webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Own design, implementation, and delivery of complex features across backend services and web applications.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and webhooks for enterprise integrations with high reliability and security.
• Lead integrations from scoping through go-live with Product, Success, and customer teams.
• Improve Burq Dashboard using data and customer feedback for smoother operations.
• Ensure production quality: monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and prevention.
