Job summary

Burq, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to own the technical side of every deal—from discovery calls through signed contracts—partnering with Account Executives to demonstrate Burq’s platform to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and operations leaders.

You translate complex logistics workflows into tailored demos and proofs‑of‑concept, guide a customer’s engineering team through the API, and ensure a clean handoff to post‑sales after first live orders.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in a technical, customer-facing role (Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or equivalent).
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or delivery.
• Comfortable reading and writing code; hands-on REST API integration (Python/JavaScript).
• Familiarity with TMS, OMS, and WMS platforms across enterprise stacks.
• Strong commercial instinct; able to qualify deals and manage multi-stakeholder buying.
• Ability to translate technical capability into business value (API to P&L).
• Experience with parcel or last-mile delivery environments.
• Self-directed with a fast-moving startup mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to map customer delivery stacks and pain points.
• Build tailored demos of Pulse AI and the full API for verticals.
• Scope and run proof-of-concept integrations with customer engineering teams.
• Guide initial implementation to live orders before handoff to post-sales.
• Architect end-to-end delivery solutions for multi-stakeholder deals.
• Respond to RFPs and security questionnaires quickly.
• Produce integration specs and handoff docs for post-sales.
• Relay feedback to product and engineering to influence the roadmap.
