Burq, Inc. in Lahore is seeking a world-class Full-stack Engineer to own end-to-end problems, build APIs, integrations, and product surfaces used by enterprise retailers to run delivery through Burq.

You’ll ship features end-to-end, design robust APIs, and tackle production challenges with an ownership mindset. You’ll work on REST APIs, microservices, and AI-enabled tooling, integrating with customer systems, hardening APIs/webhooks, and ensuring reliability under real-world load.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend focus with Node.js/JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building web apps with React or a modern framework.
• Designing and building REST APIs and microservices.
• Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases and AWS.
• Experience integrating with third-party systems and APIs.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and delivery focus.
• AI-native approach to development and tooling.
• Clear, direct communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Own the design, implementation, and delivery of complex features across backend services and web applications.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and webhooks for enterprise integrations with high reliability and security.
• Lead integrations from scoping through go-live with Product, Success, and customer engineering teams.
• Use data and feedback to improve the Burq Dashboard for efficient operations.
• Take ownership of production quality: monitoring, incidents, and root-cause analysis.
• Raise team standards through code reviews, design input, and mentoring.
• Use AI tools daily in development, testing, and debugging as a core workflow.
