Job summary

Hire Fellows is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to own an existing multi-sided platform. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and decide between rebuilds or refinements, spanning backend and frontend with a focus on authentication, real-time data, and integrations.

Collaborate with the founder to ensure reliable end-to-end customer, driver, retailer, and admin experiences. You will work across customer apps and internal dashboards, review the Lovable-based stack, and drive practical

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development with strong backend focus.

Responsibilities

• Take full technical ownership of the existing application and assess what needs to be fixed, improved, optimized, or rebuilt.

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Full-Stack Developer to join the technology team of a fast-growing, early-stage company building a multi-sided digital platform. You will take technical ownership of an existing application and play a hands-on role in making it fully functional, stable, and ready for launch. In this role, you will work across the backend and frontend of the product, with a particular focus on troubleshooting, improving, and completing the existing backend infrastructure. The application is already substantially built, so this is not a role focused purely on building from scratch. You will assess the current setup, identify what needs to be fixed or improved, and make practical decisions on whether to optimize, rebuild, or simplify different parts of the product. You will work closely with the founder across the customer-facing application and internal platforms, ensuring that core functionality, data flows, integrations, and real-time processes work reliably from end to end.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with strong backend development experience
• Hands-on experience working with Lovable or strong familiarity with AI-assisted application development platforms
• Strong experience with Supabase or similar backend, database, and authentication platforms
• Comfortable working with GitHub and existing codebases
• Proven experience troubleshooting, improving, and completing existing applications rather than only building new products from scratch
• Strong understanding of authentication, user profiles, databases, APIs, dashboards, and application workflows
• Experience working with real-time data, syncing, notifications, or similar live application functionality
• Experience working across multiple user interfaces or role-based platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly understand an existing technical setup
• Ability to determine when existing functionality should be fixed or optimized versus rebuilt
• Comfortable working independently and taking full technical ownership of a product
