Job summary

Mashreq Bank PSC is seeking a Dev Engineer (Front-end) to transform design and product vision into interactive, responsive web applications. You will join a multidisciplinary squad, applying HTML, CSS/LESS/SCSS, JavaScript, and React to deliver high-quality front-end features with a focus on user experience.

You will participate in agile ceremonies, write unit tests, and contribute to continuous delivery, ensuring robust performance and accessibility across devices.

Qualifications

• Past experience as a frontend developer building modern JavaScript-based web applications.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS/LESS/SCSS, and responsive design.
• Experience with React and modern JavaScript tooling.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and how to consume them in UI.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.
• Ability to write effective unit and integration tests.

Responsibilities

• Transform the design and product vision into working front-end features.
• Participate in sprint planning, refinements, demos, and retrospectives.
• Develop and test the IT product, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
• Design, build, and automate front-end components and tests.
• Collaborate with designers, SMEs, and Product Owner during user story development.
