Job summary

Mashreq Careers in Pakistan is seeking a Back-end Developer to design, build, and test scalable IT products and APIs. You will integrate applications with various systems, maintain performance, and contribute to agile delivery.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, coding in Java Spring Boot and NodeJS, with exposure to Scala and modern databases. A solid understanding of RESTful services and CI/CD practices is expected.

Qualifications

• Backend developer with experience in Java Spring Boot and NodeJS.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and SOLID principles.
• Experience writing and optimizing RESTful APIs for scalable systems.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase).
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React/Angular is a plus.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds and tests IT products and APIs.
• Contributes to sprint events and refinements.
• Performs unit tests and reviews colleagues’ IT products.
• Resolves incidents and improves delivery processes.
• Ensures integration with required systems and data stores.
