Job summary

METRO Pakistan is seeking a Store Associate to support stock ordering and maintain optimal stock levels in the department. You will lead store associates in merchandising, shelf and stock management, and maintain departmental cleanliness.

You will help achieve sales targets and ensure overnight preparation per DSO protocols, with strict adherence to planograms, SOPs, and dress code. FIFO practices and expiry monitoring are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock and shelf management within a retail environment.
• Knowledge of planogram compliance and product presentation.
• Ability to conduct QA checks and adhere to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Customer Experience Manager (CEM) and assist with stock ordering and maintaining optimum stock levels in the department.
• Lead Store Associates in mass merchandising, shelf management, stock management, and departmental cleanliness.
• Improve productivity and operational efficiency within the department.
• Assist the CEM in achieving departmental sales targets.
• Ensure overnight department preparation in accordance with Dark Store Operations (DSO) protocols and readiness before store opening.
• Ensure product presentation according to the Planogram.
• Ensure all activities comply with SOPs, company policies, and applicable protocols.
• Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional attire in accordance with uniform guidelines.
• Conduct QA checks using the defined protocols and checklists to maintain quality standards.
• Monitor product expiry dates during and after stock deliveries and ensure FIFO practices.
• Ensure effective stock and shelf management.
